These Terms govern your use of the Docum platform operated by Docum Technologies. By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By creating an account or using any part of the Docum platform — whether as a hospital, healthcare professional, or agency — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with all provisions of these Terms of Service.
Both parties (hiring facilities and professionals) must independently agree to these Terms to participate on the platform.
All participants on the Docum platform agree to adhere to:
Both hospitals and professionals must conduct all engagements in accordance with the Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics) Regulations, 2002. Any violation reported by either party will be investigated and may result in platform suspension.
All medical professionals must maintain active NMC and/or State Medical Council registration throughout their use of the platform. Any lapse in registration will result in automatic suspension of shift acceptance privileges until re-verification.
In compliance with NMC regulations governing temporary staffing:
To ensure marketplace liquidity and protect both parties:
Fund Locking: Upon shift confirmation, the hospital's payment obligation is secured in a neutral escrow account managed by Docum's payment partner.
Release Trigger: Funds are released to the professional upon digital sign-off by the facility confirming shift completion.
Dispute Hold: In case of dispute, funds remain in escrow until resolution. Docum mediates disputes within 48 business hours.
No Fees for Professionals: Docum does not charge any commission, processing fee, or withdrawal fee to healthcare professionals.
Provide accurate, up-to-date credentials including NMC registration, State MC registration, medical degrees, and any specialist certifications. Notify Docum within 7 days of any changes or expirations.
Conduct Primary Source Verification (PSV) on all submitted credentials, maintain an immutable credential vault, and automatically suspend shift privileges when credentials expire or fail verification.
